Romans 8:5
“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death.
But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.
Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”

Jehovah Shalom I praise you for being my peace.
I confess I have not always rested in your peace, nor have I been an instrument of your peace.
I thank you Lord that you give strength to your people and you bless them with your peace. Lord, your word says you will keep in Perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast on you.
I ask you to keep me in your perfect peace, keep my mind steadfast, my spirit yielded to your presence and my body under the control and authority of Christ.
