The Lord is PEACE” -Judges 6:12
Mighty Hero, the Lord is with you. If the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? But now the Lord has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites. Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you! BUT LORD? My clan is the weakest and I am least in my entire family. The Lord said, “ I will be with your and you will destroy the Midianites as if you were fighting against ONE MAN. If you are truly going to go with me, show me a sign to prove that it is really the LORD speaking to me. DOn’t go away until I come back and bring my offering.

23) “It’s all right”, the Lord replied, “Do not be afraid, you will not die” And Gideon built an altar there and named it, “THE LORD IS PEACE”
Confession
Lord please forgive me for not resting in your peace.
Please forgive me for
- Trying to take control and manipulate situations out of my false power.
- Not being an instrument of peace in my home, work and community.
- For my impatience in the small. For it is here you prepare the bigger things.
Please cleanse my heart of all roots of fear and doubt. Infuse me with your peace, my Lord Jehovah Shalom.
Thanksgiving
Thank you Lord that you bring peace when you come in the mighty rushing wind. You still the storm and quiet my heart with your presence. You bring all things under your authority and become my anchor of strength. I praise you my Lord, Jehovah Shalom.
Thank you for creating in me a clean heart, renewing and steadfast spirit and breathing your life into me so that I can truly walk in your peace in my home, work and community. Today I thank you for your peace. I feel specifically……
Supplication
Lord I believe that you are the author of all sustaining peace. I believe you are the one and only who can calm the storm in my head, heart and body.
Please give me an awareness of your presence that gives me peace with:

- Place
- Project
- Process

Know that this love surpasses knowledge and that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
