Movement: Prayer

Prayerfully designed to bring you into the presence of the Lord through prayer; declaring your faith and anticipating your deliverance.

Lord your word says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.”

-Philippians 4:6

Lord I confess I need your help, help me not be anxious, but in every situation with prayer and petition to make my requests known to you my God.

EXERCISES:

It Is Well- Seated

  1. Seated shoulder rolls– hands on shoulders and elbows out
  2. Side reach– reach long, roll wrists, flow
  3. Forward fold– hold, reach side to side
  4. Side bend– reach through, fall through (“sun and moon”)
  5. Single knee bend– reach forward on the inside of the bent leg, hold the leg up and twist opposite direction, switch twist direction (leg can be straight or bent)
  6. Seated staff– reach, open palms with elbows in by sides (receiving and giving hands), fold forward

*Now, we will move together into our mind moves with a scripture meditation

MIND MOVE AFFIRMATION: Move- Side bend.

“In prayer and petition, with thanksgiving I make my requests made known to God.”
