Movement: Yoga

Today’s Movement series is Yoga.

Yoga is movement that finds length in your strength. It allows you to find space to be in our body and encourages you to learn how to mindfully bend and not break, to feel and not force, and to be and not just do. Yoga is your sacred space to breathe and just simply be in your beautiful body!

EXERCISES:

You will need: a towel, mat and a peaceful place to be.

  1. Chair pose flow– I go deep and stand tall with confidence
  2. Side bend– I adapt and adjust easily between grit and grace
  3. Warrior 3A fold and open– Support is all around me, I receive the support I need from every direction
  4. Revolved side angle / Side angle twist– I have focus and power in every move I make.
  5. Warrior squat to forward fold– I go deep to restore and I stand tall with resilience
  6. Crescent lunge– I flow from imbalance to stability with ease, grace and precision
