Movement: Pain Free Health

Moving through pain and putting the HEAL back into HEALth- Starts with self awareness and knowledge of the pain source’s structural anatomy.

Pain– Alignment issue in the tissues.

Misalignment physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Alignment of mind body purpose and intention is your sacred space- YOU.

Misalignment– traumas are in our tissues and our message is in our muscles.

Together we will discover:

The push and pull

The anchor and line

The strength with length

EXERCISES:

Grab a towel, mat and a wide space to be.

1. Pelvis positions– hips/back

  • Neutral and anterior/posterior tilts
  • Lateral flexion

2. Angels– shoulders

  • Neutral and elevating/depressing
  • Arm reaches- narrow, wider, widest
  • Thumbs up and down

3. Spinning plates– shoulders

  • Reach out and around
  • Figure 8

4. Neck release– neck

  • Side to side
  • Neutral and flexion/extension (head nods)

5. Hip release– hips

  • Extend leg out/in
  • Add knee open to side

6. Hover & hug release– knee/hips

  • Neutral and anterior/posterior tilt
  • Hug knee in and hover/press other leg out
