Lesson 16 of 18
In Progress

Movement: Balance

Balance is something we seek in all of our life. Physically it is the body’s ability to adapt and adjust to an external force or feeling that challenges you to maintain your position and posturing. Emotionally, it presents itself similarly in the challenge to maintain composure and connection when we feel most vulnerable to instability in our inSECURITIES. When our mind and body do not find the security it needs in our environment and experiences, we lose our ability to focus and find the balance we need to stay strong and connected from the inside out.

When we strengthen our body’s ability to find balance we are also strengthening our minds’ eye of interwoven communication and connection.

There really is no separation of mind and body when it comes to BALANCE.

When we are distracted, stressed, anxious, or upset, our body’s ability to balance is hindered as much as our mind feels threatened.

On the journey to seeking balance, we find a holistic process of strengthening our mind and body to anchor, adapt, and adjust to find our grounding strength and flexible form.
