Today’s Movement series is designed to get your heart pumping, blood flowing and body shaking.
Cardio stands for cardiovascular or cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) which is basically how well your heart and respiratory health are doing creating and pumping oxygen rich blood to your muscle and organs during sustained periods of exercise.
EXERCISES:
You will need: a wide space to twist, kick, and move with sneakers on!
Movement Tip: 6 exercises for 30 sec -1 time through.
You can Repeat the cycle however many times you want to. The recommendation is 20-30 mins of cardio 3 times a week.
- Run in place 90 sec
- High knees
- Wide knees
- Butt kickers
- Single leg bicycle
- Jump rope in place
- GET OUTSIDE and walk, run, swim or bike this week for 20 mins every day.
Today we are going to do 1 more min of running in place together and this time we are going to incorporate our mind moves now!
MIND MOVE AFFIRMATION: Slow bicycle for 60 sec
